Personal, comprehensive, accessible career development for aspiring news
and sports broadcast performers©
|
Marc,
I would like to thank you for the time and effort you have put forth in relation to my son's video and audio demo. I am convinced this will put Adam in a position for an opportunity that is related to his future career. Its real simple for me. I size up people in 5 minutes, you say what you do and do what you say. .

As a matter of fact Marc, you go beyond your contract. While a demo reel is an important aspect in this process, what I appreciate is the fact that you provide timely consulting, coaching and mentoring along the way to an individual seeking a potential position in the broadcast industry. I know you don't have to provide this service for a living. It clearly shows in your attitude, that you truly enjoy working to support commited students in their quest to break into broadcasting industry.
Sincerely,
Michael Bagni

Recently Marc spoke to a group of Temple University Undergrads enrolled in Assistant Professor George Miller's Journalism and Society class. Many, many thanks to Professor Miller for his help and consideration. Here are comments from some of the students:

I loved Marc Zumoff, and I'm really glad he agreed to come speak to us. It's good to hear from someone who has worked hard and now has a life most envy. He gave great advice and even threw names out there for us to contact, which in my opinion, was really helpful.
Thanks again for stopping by the class, you really inspired me to continue to work
hard and make my dreams come true.

I am so glad that Marc Zumoff came to speak to our class! He seriously motivated me so incredibly much. I have been tweaking my resume since and have been looking for internship opportunities. It was realy encouraging to hear that he started as a lowly intern and now he has this amazing, incredibly desirable job. I realize that now is the time to start achieving my dreams. I don't just have to wait until I graduate or finish a certain amount of college credits to reach my goals. I can do that right now; today.

Marc Zumoff lecture was very interesting. It provided me with a lot of valuable information about the industry. His enthusiasm was refreshing since the state of the industry is very discouraging to aspiring journalists.

Marc Zumoff's presentation was extremely interesting and kept me intrigued. His personality definitely helped his speech. What he said was really useful and put a lot of aspects of journalism for me in perspective. He made me realize that my dreams are within my reach as long as I put in a lot of time and dedication.

Marc Zumoff was a really great speaker and he definitely helped to ease some of the fears that I had about internships and making connections with people. I met Mr. Zumoff last year during my senior year at CAPA (his son and I were in the same graduating class) when he was the announcer at our Senior Showcase and he seemed really nice then. After his speaking to our class, i got to know more about him and he's really cool.
