Through this year, Harlan was the voice of the
Minnesota Timberwolves on KFAN-AM and on KARE-TV,
the Timberwolves Television Network. In addition,
he has called NFL games for Fox, NBC, and ESPN,
and beginning this fall for CBS.
Brown has been with Turner Sports as an NBA
analyst for eight years, and has provided analysis
for TNT’s coverage of the NBA Draft since 1991.
In addition, he served as analyst for the network’s
coverage of the 1994 World Championship of basketball
as well as the 1995 and ’97 McDonald’s Championships.
He called NBA games for CBS and USA Network after
retiring from coaching with the Atlanta Hawks
(1976-81), New York Knicks (1982-87), Milwaukee
Bucks (1972-74) and the ABA’s Kentucky Colonels
(1974-76).
Zumoff, who was a sideline reporter during Turner
Sports’ coverage of the 1998 NBA Playoffs, is
a member of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76er’s broadcast
team. He has won the Mid-Atlantic Emmy for play-by-play
five of the last six years. He has broadcast
the Sixers games since 1982.
TBS, the Goodwill Games host broadcaster since
1986, will televise 45 hours of cable exclusive
prime time Goodwill Games competition coverage
from 8:05-11:05 p.m. (ET), July 19-August 2,
with an additional two hours of Opening Celebration
coverage, Saturday, July 18, from 8:05-10:05
p.m. (ET).
